Contact for more info

We have a relatively straightforward audition process. For more detailed information, please send us a message through our contact page. Here are some of the guidelines we've had for auditions in the past.

*All of these requirements are subject to change*

Audition Requirements:
1. You will be asked to perform a song selection of your choice. This song should be something that you enjoy performing and that you are comfortable with. Please plan to perform only one minute of your selection. You must have sheet music for your piece and that music must be marked as to where you are starting and stopping. You will be required to send the sheet music for your piece to us well before your audition date. You will be allowed to use your music for your audition, you do not need to be memorized.

A great place to find sheet music for your piece is MusicNotes.com. You can find just about any song you can think of to purchase and print. This site even allows you to choose a key that fits your voice!  https://www.musicnotes.com/

2. You will be asked to learn three pieces that we will send to you. Please learn your chosen voice part. You will be singing your part along with 3 other people singing the accompanying voice parts. Please print these pieces and bring them with you. You will be allowed to use your music for your audition, you do not need to be memorized.

3. You will be asked to vocalize with our Artistic Director Scott and our Associate Conductor William to check your range.

4. You will be asked to complete an Audition Form with some basic questions including:

Preferred voice part

Interest in small ensembles

Availability

Experience

Results:
Results from auditions will be sent out by email a few weeks prior to the start of the season. Please be aware that you ay be assigned a voice part other than the one you have selected. Music Packets will be distributed the day of the first rehearsal, and it is imperative that you be able to attend. Concert dates for any season will be relayed via email to you before the first rehearsal.
